The mission of Conway County Literacy Council is to impact intergenerational cycles of illiteracy in Conway County by improving adult literacy skills and generating community-wide literacy awareness. The primary focus of our program is to provide confidential and free tutoring by trained volunteer tutors.

About Us

The Conway County Literacy Council was founded in 1987. It is a 501(c)3 organization devoted to ending illiteracy in Conway County. We offer free, one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, math and English as a Second Language (ESL) to adults ages 18+ throughout the county. We are governed by a local board, and are members of Arkansas LIteracy Councils, Arkansas Department of Career Education, and Pro-Literacy.
